Sculptures

Since 1996 Erik has created organic sculptures in many materials. Each material has its own character, its own tools and its own process. All works are unique, created in a single exemplar.

The forms are woven through with love of the material and of the creative act: the resistance of granite, the light of marble, the warmth of bronze, the growth rings of wood and the softness of stoneware clay. Common to them all is the organic language of form, where concave and convex surfaces alternate in constant movement, and where the same form can be experienced differently from every side.
